Where can you enjoy bargain shopping in singapore like those of greenhills in manila--or maybe better?

Specifically, i'm talking about shopping for clothes, shoes, accessories and the likes..are those places safe from snatchers and the likes? do they have ample parking areas? how often is that place crowded? what are some guidelines that we must keep in mind when going there? what are the price ranges of some items?

Generally speaking, Singapore is pretty much a "safe area". But of course, it's better to be safe than sorry, so whenever you're going out to anywhere that's crowded, carry a backpack or a safepack.

I'm not very familiar with the shopping in Greenhills, Manila, but there are some fleamarkets in Singapore.

There's a weekly (Saturdays) one at Tanglin Mall in Orchard Road. Some are second-hand goods while others are new merchandise. There's everything from children's toys to earrings to shoes to bags!

The club, Zouk, regularly holds a fleamarket in its premises, but I'm not sure when it is held. I know for sure that some local celebs sometimes sell their stuff there and that a fashion lecturer goes shopping at that fleamarket to find gems!

Another fleamarket is the Lime Sonic Bang (or something along those lines) and it boasts about 100 stalls! It's usually held on Saturdays, starting at 1 PM till late. I think it's a fortnightly affair.

Thriftstores are also a good place to find designer clothes at low prices! You'd have MNG tops selling from S$5 and if you're lucky, a Chanel bag for under $20!

I'm not very sure the locations of these thriftstores but if you're going to stay in a hotel, do ask the reception counter for help!
