Mattell has requested that all items in a set be returned with the recalled magnet toys. I am understanding this to include shoes. Do you know if Mattell will deny my return because I am missing a shoe or two? I have them and there is not option to talk to a human. I just don't want to waste my time finding all the items if it'll be denied anyway.
Does anyone know if Mattell will deny my Polly Pocket return if I do not have all the accessories?
Yeah probably unless it's just like a little barbie doll shoe and everything else is still in it's packaging..You can try returning it by putting everything in a ziplock bag that you have and then see if they'll take it, but if not then I wouldn't waste my time looking for a shoe thats an 8th of an inch wide..
Reply:I don't think Mattell is going to return any money for the recall of the old toys. It's more like for the safety of your child as a swallowing hazzard. if your child is over 4 they probably know not to swallow the yucky stuff.
Reply:I think with the second wave of recalls for Mattel it's safe to say that trying to get a refund will be impossible... even mailing in your toys for coupons would be a waste. What I heard on the news is to go to the Mattel website, follow the recall link, fill out hte questionnaire to determine if your toy is tainted. If it's not, you are safe. If it's tainted just throw it away. It sucks for parents who really trusted this brand and bought many of the toys now recalled... Good Luck!!!
Reply:No, they want any and all pieces you have and will take anything that is on the recall list.
They don't want you to keep the doll because of small items being lost.
Getrid of it and buy your kid something safer, like blasting caps or a gun.

i think they will understand that the vacuum at a shoe or more..they are pretty tiny
