Accessories to wear with strapless gold dress??

I recently bought a metallic, soft gold/champaign colored, Grecian inspired dress. It's got a bubble knee length bottom and a sweetheart neckline. It's adorable but I just realized I have no idea what color shoes to wear with it and what sort of jewelery to compliment it.





I think I'd like to forgo a necklace and opt for cute earrings instead. I'd like to wear my hair down but I need styling options. Also, I feel like gold shoes would be too much, black would be too dramatic and silver would clash. Any ideas?? Links to hair, makeup, shoes and jewelery ideas would be great. 2] bag to match dress or shoes


3] 1" to 3" drop earrings - in gold filagree, or pearls, or bright gemstones; and a beatiful bracelet or ring


4] try a French twist, or half up-half down combo


5] browns or grays for shadows; peach or pink/rose for lips and cheeks

Reply:i think you should stick with simple colors, like red or black (i think black would look better). Maybe a black choke collar neckalce with sparkly diamond earrings (studs) and high heel black shoes would go really well. You could also wear red high heels instead of black, that'll look more chique and less formal. I guess it all depends on what kind of look you're going for!
Reply:If the dress is gold just maybe some diamond earrings would be enough. otherwise its just too much flash. and just some simple very strappy heels.

Reply:Needs a gold collar necklace. But if you are going to wear earrings, make them long or big depending on your style. You could match your shoes to your purse, say a blue or green. Also you could match it to your jewelry if you are going to have any color there. You could always go for a colorful bracelet that is really noticable and then match your shoes to that color so people will easily make the connection when they look at you.
