I need a website. can anybody help?
Ebay is a great website to sell things! It's a very popular website, and so many people will be willing to purchase you're used clothes.

There are also some other options. In some towns, you can put up advertisments to sell things. In my town you can do that. I sold my old dolls that had been sitting in my attic for 20 years, and I ended up making a whooping $200 out of all of em.

You could also advertise yourself. Print out some flyers with pictures of the clothing, size, the price you are would like, and your name and phone number. Post them around your neighborhood, and hand them out to people. You may be surprised with the number of phone calls you may recieve.

You could also make your own website and sell on there, though I wouldn't suggest it. Not many people will find your website, unless you REALLY try to advertise it, but that is so much work. Here are some sites I suggest for making websites:

freewebs.com

geocities.yahoo.com

spruz.com

register.com (great for business, but this site does cost money)

Another idea is you could have a yard sale. I highly suggest this, you can sell more than your clothes, and its all in one day, so no waiting for phone calls, emails, or any of that sort. If you do a yard sale, I highly suggest flipping your house upside down, and looking for other things you could possibley sell at your yard sale. Yard sales usually have a lot of items on sale, and just some old clothes and shoes may not be very satisfying.

Another great site, other than Ebay is www.ecrater.com. It's not as popular, but if you don't want to sell on Ebay but you want to sell on a website, eCrater would probably be your best bet.

You can also sell on Amazon (www.amazon.com) It's pretty easy to sell, too.

Good Luck and God Bless,

Reply:Craigslist
Reply:craigslist.org its local so you usually don't have to deal with shipping stuff.
Reply:eCrater.com is the place to sell!! It's better than ebay. It's totally free and you easily set up your own store. There main checkout is google checkout and paypal. People are becoming partial to google. I sold my first item the day after I built my site! You keep all your money from selling, The only fees are from the checkouts (google and paypal) People see your store immediately in searches.Give your items direct names so it's easily searched. also newegg is great for selling electronics!!
Reply:E-bay...amazon.co.uk
Reply:lol ebay, and amazon,craigslist
Reply:use yahoo small business website.
Reply:Ebay!!!
Reply:you could sell them at amazon.com
Reply:ebay. jk. no maybe amazon.com
Reply:I can make websites fairly easy. It's not very hard.

Sell them on ebay if you want people to search for your clothing.

If you have a basic knowledge of HTML and you want to pay something like 10 dollars a year for your own website, you can make it yourself.
Reply:spruz.com you can make your own website and sell... for free

also if you want to pay, look into yahoo websites that you can buy a domain
Reply:I highly reccomend http://craigslist.org/ because you can offer pickups, which are much more safe when it comes to your money than delivery.
Reply:You would be best to use an already established auction site like www.ebay.com or www.onlineauction.com

It can be lots of work setting up your own e-commerce site and maybe not worth the time and expense involved.

If you are going to have a continual line of items to sell (compulsive buyer ?) then maybe it would be fun to set up a small website as an aside. It really is hard work getting found now on the Internet through search engines. You could use pay-pal though to take payments via your own personal site.

There are loads of free web hosts but nothing is for free right? Your site will have banner ads or maybe even pop-ups.

If you do decide to go for your own site it might be best to have a look around for a hosted web space your own domain name etc.

The link above will give you a list of hosts if you want to start looking around. If you do want to design your own site it would be best to get some software to help with this, it can be quite daunting and a steep learning curve.

You can download Serif Web Site Software 6 for free here

and have a play around with it before you decide if that is the path you want to go...

hope this helps :)

You can make your own website, though it does cost some money.

Otherwise, sell it on ebay.
Reply:but why not ebay?
Reply:www.ebay.com
Reply:amazon.com

shopzilla.com
Reply:go to www.bazarynka.com
Reply:do you have a PLATO's Closet in your area? I think that's a great place to resell clothes.
Reply:you could sell them on ebay
Reply:you need a means of attracting visitors to your site, means of payment too, like paypal... or a po box for cash checks.... seriously, ebay is easier, or sell to a local thrift store. or donate to charity. gl.

cheers!
