Do red accessories look good with a black & white outfit/?

I have to go to a girl's 21st birthday party at a restaurant and I decided to wear black trousers with a white %26amp; black emporium waist top with a floral print on it. I think the outfit is a bit boring so would adding red accessories such as earring, bangles, and a necklace look good or tacky? if I had red shoes I would wear them as well...or should I stick to the whole black and white theme? i want to look trendy and different but not weird. any advise would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Yes, definitely! I wear red accessories or shoes with black and white outfits to spice them up a bit. I usually only go with the accessories or the shoes not both though so it isn't overdone.

Reply:No way. The eighties trend is over. Throw the bangles out and the big chunky necklaces and never mix blacks, whites and reds.





The mid to late seventies trend will be coming back in full swing this fall, with bellbottoms and mid-waist cuts, so be prepared. (Thank God!)

Reply:that look is very trendy and modern. it's pretty classic and the black and white is really set off by any red accessories. and red pump would look really great with that outfit as well.
Reply:yes maybe a red necklace, but NO RED SHOES OR BANGLES!! when you are wearing black and white DO NOT over do it. i would say a necklace and black shoes should finish it up.

Reply:I think that would be REALLY cute. You can actually wear yellow accessories too. Yellow is a really popular color this year, and Ive seen several style shows where they suggest yellow jewelery with black/white theme clothes
