Help completing my outfit?

I just bought this skirt from Miss Selfridge:

It finishes just above the knee, and I'd love some ideas on what too wear with it.


I don't mind looking girly, but I'm normally quite laid back style-wise.


I'm just trying to make my wardrobe a little more interesting but I don't know how...


If anyone has links or ideas on tops/shoes/accessories then it would be really appreciated!

Reply:Black leggings, then a pink and black printed tank and a denim jacket, or a gray hoodie! Shoes, maybe black flats or black sneakers from Payless. I would go with silver hoops for jewerly. (You can get them almost any store, like Claire's.)
Reply:A knit sweater would look nice with it. Also, I did alot of sewing. If I had a skirt like that, I would decorate about 5" of the border with either beads, or some kind of embroidery. I also might add a border of a complimentary fabric to make the skirt a little longer as I personally like my skirts a little longer.

Reply:i would keep it simple so dats a no to the of the shoulder dat was suggested. i would go to topshop were you get two vests for 14 euro or two for ten pounds [sterling]. i would get one black one n some gold bangles and earings and some peep toe shoes 4 a night time look., and maybe some black tights if u need to feel more comfortable in a skirt. i would pick a bright colour vest for my other choice of the promotion vests n wear a cute pair of dolly shoes for day time. i would keep jewellery limited by day n maybe add some leggings or coloured leg warmers another day to make the same skirt look totally different. the key is to change your accessories so you can get the most out of what you have nobody will even notice you r wearing the same skirt by night n day as you can make it look so different. hope this helps trust me i do this 4 a living
