On a budget and need a whole new wardrobe?

So I'm changing my style but the issue is that I'm on a budget of $284 give or take 20 bucks. The $284 is for everything make-up,clothes,shoes, accessories. My question is do you have any tips besides shopping in sale racks.

Thanks

On a budget and need a whole new wardrobe?
1.buy lots of cami's and tank tops! they're cheap [especially at forever21 and when they're on sale at hollister] you can layer them or wear them by themselves.

2. buy 3 jackets-since you have a lot of cami's, it'll be nice to have good jackets in the cooler season

3. buy off season-you get the best deals on jackets in the summer, shorts in the winter etc.

4. invest in something you'll wear everyday-it's okay to get something expensive! I suggest investing in a purse, jewelry, or shoes or anything that you like a lot and will use everyday

5. make up-you can get make up at drugstores! I think Target is the best. try the brand e.l.f. since everything they sell is about a $1

6. For jeans, get about 6 pairs [try PacLoot at Pacsun! Their jeans are 2 for $55 and if you spend over $50 during PacLoot, they'll take $25 off your next purchase! With that buy 2 more pairs of jeans for only $30!]

7. get three pairs of shoes-everyday, dress-up, flip flops -i'm not sure what your new style is, but if you don't like flip flops than just a pair of your chioce. Buckle has amazing deals on shoes when they're on sale! remember, you can spend a little bit more on shoes since you'll wear them everyday.

8.get a little black dress -forever 21 is the perfect place for that.

9. try to find some outlet stores near you. they have designer brands at discounted prices! i got a $600 coat for only $70!
Reply:I would recommend looking at ebay. You can find all sorts of brands of any type of clothing you are looking for....tank tops, jackets, outfits, jeans, shorts, T-shirts, etc. There are some pretty good deals on there, so it is definetly worth a look!
Reply:Now is a great time to shop since the sales are going on..just buy colors/materials that will carry you long into the next season except for the heat of summer. By then maybe you'll have saved more money up for them

Going with fad styles they go out fast so if you buy all fad things you'll be outdated quickly....you don't mention age so am unsure on this but try stores that always have those 50% off and now have the sales too on top of that..

Tanks, pullovers, dressy jeans are always a plus in style..get latest style in shoes in black %26amp; brown strappy look and that way can be dressed up or down and in style.

Find skirts in basic colors but put the cool, tank %26amp; pullovers you bought with them and you have another look.

so your major expense will be in the jeans %26amp; skirts..usually the tanks you can get cheaper..so get many styles %26amp; colors to change the look...dressy/casual

I never wear jackets...hate bundled up..so I buy alot of the sweaters...also can go over tanks..get ones that can go with dressy or casual ..and with the jeans..

Good Luck..may take you some time but you can do it, I have before.

PS: I go overseas for 3 wks a year with one suitcase..I take mix %26amp; match basic colors like those mentioned..sexy black, dressy jeans, white, colored tanks, beaded tanks..3 pair of shoes does me..strappy wedges, black %26amp; brown ones too, then casual low ones is it
Reply:get two pants and several tops to change up the look a scarf or two use your imagination
Reply:This can be fun - look in expensive stores and magazines for ideas and then hunt down the look (not the wardrobe in upscale thrift shop, walmart, consignment stores. have fun with it. Get a free makeover from a department store make up artist and get your accsories from a thrift shop.

I knew two sisters who always dressed in vintage they made a statement, always looked like movie stars from the30's 40's and 50's and did it on a small budget - it just takes patience and time.

have fun

Were you told this by the fasion industry that is about to take your money?
Reply:-the most obvious, shop at thrift stores [: theyre cheap, and if yew can get past all the shoulder-pads %26amp; granny pants, yew can get some great buys :D especially when it comes to accessories

-have a clothes swap with friends. i know it sounds kinda weird, but i did that with a friend and got some super cute clothes. make sure shes your size though, of course.

-ask friends for their old clothes that theyve grown out of. that may also sound kinda weird, but some might have the style that youre looking for

-create a list of stuff yew wanna buy, and do research online to find out around how much cash yew want to spend for each. trust me, that helps loads

good luck, anyways [: hope i helped.
Reply:tell me if you find a way cause that wood be awesome to know
