What to match with a one-shoulder top?

I'm planning to buy this top for prom (yes I know it's a rather formal event but I'm staying out of gowns and black dresses because everyone else is wearing them)

Reply:I really like your idea! You're going to need to put a lot of thought into making the rest work, because prom is a very formal event and you need to match the part. What I would suggest is to have a semi-full black skirt on the bottom, and then use silver gloves and accessories to bring out the sparkles on the top. I am having problems finding the skirt that perfectly matches my vision online, but here is an example of the fullness of skirt I am talking about . . .

Another idea would be to do that fullness of skirt in a jewel tone like the one on this dress

You might have to enlist the help of a seemstress or look for the bottom of a two piece prom dress on ebay to find what you want. You should be able to find a pattern for that type of bottom in a sewing catalog at a fabric store. But like I said, I love the idea and I really think that you will have a unique result.
