What dress should i wear! urgent, please help!?

it's my boyfriend's 18th birthday party soon, at a racecourse so it's quite formal.


i've got slightly tanned skin, brown hair, green eyes, i'm 5"6 and 112 llbs, size 34b bra





which dress should i wear? i prefer the first but i'm not sure wether it's formal enough, or you could suggest another one if you don't like any

Just the first is fine. For your hair you could get sidde bangs and a nice ponytail ( I hear the fancy ones are in fashion), maybe layers with sidebangs, that would look great with brown hair and that dress. Even just curling the ends a bit would be fine. If you have a straightener, just straighten it, so it's simple and pretty. Shoes could be any ballet flats, I suggest white and black though. If you don't think that's formal enough, try some black or white (or both) high heels. Leather boots will do fine, too. Unless you're going for the bold look, makeup should be light, and should compliment your skin tone. Some light blush at your cheekbones, some light pink/purple/peachy lipgloss or lipstick. It could be sparkly, but don't overdo it. Some eyeliner and mascara to highlight your green eyes would also help. The colour of eyeshadow should depend on what you're wearing on your lips, if you have pink lipstick on, pink eyeshadow works best. You could also try a bronze or gold, whatever you think would wotk better with your dress. If you want something really bold and clear, put on red lipstick, no blush. It keeps the focus on your lips. Eyeshadow should be a dark pink. Jewelry should be white and black, white, or just black. Some dangle earrings, gold bangles, and a chunky necklace works well. The bigger the piece of jewelry, the less you need. As for bags, try a black leather bag, a small one at that. Maybe a white clutch would work. Hope I helped :)

Reply:you're right the first one is cute. Since the stars are silver, i'd recomend silver shoes, wheteher you prefer plats, pumps or stilettos is up to you. wear simple silver jewelry, and green eyeshadow o bring out your eyes. add a splash of color with your accessories or shoes,, but not both
Reply:Defenitley the second one. The first one looks to informal and the thrid one looks like your going to a funeral. The second one looks very pretty.

hair ~ half up/half down


makeup ~ light eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner. not much


shoes ~ not flats, but not really tall heels either. something in between...


accessories ~ necklace, earrings, bracelet, barrette for your hair.
Reply:If it's really formal, wear the third one. The first one is my favorite too, but it's not as formal as the third one. However, with the right accessories, it couldd really look fab.





Makeup? smokey eyes, light cheeks, paler lips. a dramatic look would look great with either dress!
Reply:I love the second dress. I think you should wear your hair down and straight. Wear some pretty earings and a bracelet. Do a smokey eye for makeup and some natural looking blush and lips.

Reply:definitely the second one, I don't know how long your hair is, so I can't answer that one but as far as accessories I love bracelets or a long necklace that passes the bust area...try to go for something that matches your shoes, as far as makeup I would definitley go towards a more natural look like peach or pink, soft colors to bring out your eyes...but make sure that your eyeshadow dosen't clash with your skincolor ( lookup shadows that are made to bring out your eyecolor and then go for there)

Reply:the second one would look the best on you since you have tanned skin it will make the dress pop more. also your thin so the second one would look fabulous. as for your hair i think you shouldnt straighten it, that would look kind of weird since its kind of a flowy dress.

Reply:I like the last dress, the black one. It's really classic looking. You should wear your hair down, maybe wavy. You could wear black stillettos or if you want a burst of color, red or silver shoes. Have fun at the party.

Reply:You could hair your hair wavy down or in a pony tail. Wear some cute flats. I like the third dress best, but I'm not a big fan of black.
