I am 24 years old, just married, fairly conservative. I am also a teacher and would like some things (shirts, shoes, accessories) that I can pair with dress pants or skirts in the late summer when I go back to work.
I am going shopping for some cute summer clothes, what should I get?
I would try capries, for the shorts if your more on the conservative side. Match that with a pastel colored cami (or depending on your skin tone if your darker and you want a fresh look go with a white. Bright colors are always the best for a fun summer look.) With a cami you can easily pair it with a nice little cardigan or other types of tops or sweaters or light weight jackets that go really well with slacks or skirts. And for shoes I would try going with some simple pumps or wedges. They hold to the conservative side without seeming too flashy, and they look great with skirts. If your pants are long enough, try a comfortable peep toe. As for jewlery don't over do it. Keep to a longer, but light weight necklace so it doesn't over power you. If the shirt is a little on the low side, go with a necklace that sits higher up, and smaller earrings. It'll give you a more mature look so you don't look like your sixteen with the chunky jewlery and heavy earrings. If you need shoes that are more comfortable for work, I would look into Aresoles. They make some nice shoes that are stylish and meant for comfort!
Reply:Ann Taylor currently has a sale with 70% off outlet prices I recomend going there and finding something cheep and nice for work. If you have a larger budget I reccomend Bannana Republic outlet. Check out your local outlet stores. And my favorite check out a local Lacoste boutque. You can find everything there.
