Will someone please help me find a formal look?

I'm probably going to need one sometime this year. Definitely for a formal banquet in spring, but I'm really just interested to see what people come up with.

Height: 5'3.5"

Body type: slim, but not bony

Hair: long, curly/wavy, and chessnut brown

Eye color: blue:

I like...

Colors that flatter me

Looking interesting

Feeling like a princess

Being comfortable

I don't like...

Dresses in Super-bright colors

Dresses that are solid black, or mostly black

Sequins and glitter

Showing a lot of skin

I'd like for you to find me a dress, a hairstyle, shoes, accessories, and something cool to do with my make up.

I'm eager to see what you find me.

Will someone please help me find a formal look?
I was going to find you specific items, but then I realized you might not like them, so I decided to give you lots of different links for you to look at. Hopefully, if you don't like these, it at least gave you some new ideas. I picked them from non-expensive places so that'll make it easier =]

Dresses:

(with a cute necklace would look chic, modern and classy)

(young, chic and colorful but not too bright, and will look amazing with accessories)

I'm not totally sure what event you're going to, so maybe the ones I picked aren't perfect. Here's a good link:

Just remember that if it's showing too much skin for you, you can always get a light jacket or sweater over it in white or tan or brown, a basic color.

Accessories:

http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp...

(I own this one, and it's great since it can be both casual or formal, it's basic and will match a lot)

http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?cat...

(maybe not this pair exactly, but some light bangles. when / if you try them on, you don't need to wear all of them - just the amount that looks right for you)

Shoes:

http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?cat...

(basic pattern, you'll be able to wear them casually too. black is the most simple, and gold or silver will add flare)

Sweaters / Jackets:

http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?cat...

(something like this, light and comfortable. you can put it over your dress if it feels too revealing)

Hair:

I'm thinking you should definitely leave it down, it'll look formal and natural.

Makeup:

If it's during the spring, try natural and pink-ish shades. For winter, you could do a shadow-y eye, or if that's too bold, do light black-grey shades are your eye. In my opinion, a pink-red for lips will look great.

Sorry this answer is like really long. But here's some other good links for dressy stuff, they have great dresses, jackets and shoes:
