Essentials for teen wardrobe!!! HELP!!!?

What would you say are the essentials for a teen wardrobe? I'm sick of buying clothes that only go with one thing in my entire closet!!!! I'm talking about clothes, shoes, accessories, anything!

Essentials for teen wardrobe!!! HELP!!!?
Jeans - skinny, boot cut, dark wash, etc.


Tops - tshirts, short sleeved blouses, cardigans, sweaters, a good coat for the winter.


Bottoms - jogging pants, khaki and jean shorts, maybe plaid, skirts in jean and linen


Dresses - cute summer dresses and a few that you could wear in the winter with woolen tights underneath


You'll need a suit for job interviews and such.


Lots of flip flops, sneakers, a few pairs of heels for dressy days, boots for winter, stuff like that.





Jewelwry? Pearls and diamonds. Lots of chunky colored beads. They go with anything. Wooden bracelets are good, too. I say that you get a pair of one karat diamond earrings and wear those - they go with absolutely anything. I wear mine with a track suit when I go grocery shopping.





Buy a plain black track suit from Juicy - the velour stuff is tacky. The tennis collection from ralph lauren is cute.





Get a few cute scarves. Maybe a newsboy hat.





Two or three turtlenecks would be good for those extra chilly days.
Reply:T-shirts- short and long sleeves: solid colored, printed or graphic because you can always layer and mix/match.





Tanks / Camis: in solid or printed which can be worn as is or layered over a t-shirt.





Black pants/ capris: solid or pin striped. These can be dressed down with flip flops or dressed up with heels





Flip Flops: dark colors such as black/ brown, or preferably the leather ones by Rainbow. These are essential because they're perfect for everyday or can be worn with a summer dress to casual events





Flats: I own one in every color of the rainbow to make things easier, but if you're on a budge you should definitely get a pair of Black, White, and one bright color such as Teal or Red or Yellow





Heels: One pair is enough if you don't normally wear these. I would say either white/ neutral colored or Black to go with everything





Jeans, pants/ capris/ skirt: the most essential! Jeans are a definite must which you can pair with anything and everything.





Summer Dress / knee-length skirt: once again solid or printed that can be worn daily or dressed up for something special.





Cardigans / light jacket / light sweater: A DEFINITE MUST! These are the best to layer with or just use as a light cover-up





Necklaces / braclets are good, purses I would say stick to the basic colors if you're on a budget, if not then also get some bright colored ones.
Reply:2 or 3 good camis to wear over or under, one pair of leggings, 3 plain good fitting t-shirts, 1 or two ribbed tank tops, 2 nice longsleved shirts, one nice pair of jeans and one to get rough in, a name brand sweatshirt, a sweatshirt you get from a sport or somethin, so loose tee you get from school and stuff, a few knee length skirts, 5ish cute dangly earings and 5ish studs, a pair of flip-flops, a pair of weges, a pair of sneakers, a pair of flats, 2 nice bras, underwear. sry is that too much, i hope i dint forget anything

10 pairs of jeans (all styles: cropped, destroyed, capri, light wash, embellished etc...)


4 tanks (in ur basic colors white, black, pink, and blue)


15 good t-shirts (this includes knits, polos, and logo tees from popular teen stores)


2 denim minis


2 denim short shorts


2 or 3 good regular cotton skirts


A couple of jewelry, bracelets, earrings etc


3 pairs of sweatpants sets


5 pair of tennis shoes (converse/vans)


2 flats


1 pair of flip flops
Reply:just buy clothing and accessories that can go with everything. have a few bright colors. and have some neutrals. a few great pairs of jeans in different shades and washes are always great. different colored tanks that you can overlap and corrdinate. yep..there's my entire wordrobe for you. haha
Reply:OK u need jeans lots of jeans. get them from american eagle hollister abercrombie or lucky brand jeans those r my favorites. i like ae jeans best tho. u need lots of cute layering tanks i got mine from old navy i think 2 for 10 and cute t- shirts with saying on them get these form abercrombie hollister aeropostale and my fave american eagle. hoodies they r super comfy and keep u nice and warm my favorite hoodies r from american eagle and abercrombie i think they make the best quality and the cutest ones. khaki pants because for school or something yr gonna need them and they can look cute with a t-shirt. sweat pants for days when u dont feel like jeans or what ever. i like american eagle and aeropostale sweats they r fuzzy and really comfy. for shoes u need flip flops hollister and abercrombie make really cute ones but they r a little expensive i get mine form old navy cuz they r basically the same colors but u can get 2 pairs for 5 dollars at old navy and at abercrombie it like 19 50 for one pair. u need ballet flats i got mine from steve madden in gold they have tons of cute ones in different colors. and they match those khaki pants and tons of other things. sneakers fro cute like every day ones i love my suede puma ones that are brown with the white logo. its ok if they get wet they dry like normal just dont get black because once they get wet they turn grey same thing with dark blue. for gym at school i got new balance in greay and pink i got them at tj maxx i love them they were on sale for 15 dollars too. and u need really cute bags i like big tote bags not too big but big enuff to fit some books in. i have 2 -3 tot bags and lots of wristlets cuz sometimes u just dont want to lug around a bag. and fro special ocassions i have a small all black coach shoulder bag. u need at least one nce bag. i got clack cuz black matches anything. i get my totes from american eagle hollister and abercrombie. my wristlets r coach and american eagle. american eagle has really cute jewerly and when they r on clearance u can get a necklace or earings for 3 bucks. mandee's has some cute bracelts too i have a multi colored dot one form there too. u alos need boots i have uggs they r so comfy. u shud save yr money and get those thts wht i did wit my birthday money. and maybe sunglasses. u cna get those at target. i have cowboy books but those r'nt a nessesity but they r cute. a good coat for winter i have a north face but abercrombie and american egale ones r good and cut too. for winter i for got cute knit sweaters american eagle and abercrombie i hope i helped i worked pretty hard on this. how could i for get denim mini skirts get those form american eagle and if u want leggings get them form target abercrombie hollister and even claires. any kind of bermuda shorts. i like denim ones from american eagle. i dont really like shorty shorts but ifnu do abercrombie and hollister r good fro those. also i got my uggs in chocolate ok now im oretty sure im done

Reply:a definite essential is a simple tank top. a body fit one, maybe a touch of lace at the bottom or top.


A teenage girl has to have a pair of jeans that she loves, that make her butt look GREAT, even if their old and faded, or designer.


Also, most girls look awesome when they have simple stud earrings.


Ballet Flats also look great with jeans, skirts, and even shorts.

or some black suede stiletto boots.


and u need a pair of peep toe heels, a pair of skinny jeens, and metallic heels, a mini skirt to go with boots, not to revealing though. lol. and u should have a baby doll dress, a few clutches, some cute camis, metallic purses, and some seed bead necklaces, and hoop earings, get a cute dress, look for this stuff at wetseal, or macys. that stuff was for going out, this stuff for school or work or what ev. get a pair of nice regular jeans, a cute denim jacket, some good makeup by MAC, and a hoodie, get a few regular tops that u seem to like, and u should definatly get a pair of fuzzy boots for the winter. :D
